Pedal Pad III Series Released

After 10 years of producing the most versatile pedal boards around, I am pleased to announce the release of the new III Series Pedal Pad Pedal Boards. New features and styling, which include 1/4" locking input and output jacks, exterior AC input, Tolex options as well as new stylized hardware and radius', make the III Series a very flexible and abundantly more attractive pedal board.

You still can just 'pop the top, plug and play' with the III Series, but now with a bit more style. In fact its just downright sexy.  With the exterior connectors you can finish a night of playing, fasten the lid down and walk away while leaving all of your connections in tact. Check out the III Series Pedal Pad product page and see the number of connector and Tolex options available.

Thanks,

Michael

Hurricane Sandy and the Time Factor

Pedal Pad pedal boardBeing from the Midwest, Kansas no less, I have a healthy respect for a strong wind.

No, I'm not referring to my style of writing, but those of a tornadic nature to be precise.  The respect part really means, like most Kansans, I have learned to recognize and take simple precautions when the conditions are ripe.

I've talked to many guitar players on the East coast in the past 12 years and they frequently want to know what it's like to experience a tornado.  The Wizard of Oz has done much to solidify a concept in the minds of East and West coasters that tornados are a daily occurence 'round these here parts.'  Some folks I've talked to personify tornados in a way that gives them a type of predatory personality.

Well....I guess it'd be fair to say 'we weren't rushing to update the Pedal Pad site,' but it's never stopped feeling like an urgent matter nonetheless.   MKS started selling Pedal Pad Pedal Boards 11 years ago and we've ventured into some other areas of the Musical Instrument Industry as well.

Officially, I'm blaming those other areas for the new site failure to launch, but I know it always comes down to how effectively I'm using my time. You know what they say about hindsight and all that but, like a good entrepreneur (the same reason I don't apologize for the Buy Now! button appearing on every page), I choose to see the positive in not entering a twelfth year of using the old site.

Along with the launch of the new site is an opportunity for me to finally join the 21st century and begin marketing in ways which previously had me saying "I've got to start doing that." Namely, social media and blogging.
